I strive to help students understand the relevancy of the courses they are taking in high school and how those courses impact their career pathways and potential college options. I provide the following services:
  • Course Selection
  • Transcript evaluations
  • Utilization of existing school and community resources
  • Assist in Self-Exploration and provide an array  of personal assessment resources.
  • Plan and organize for college entrance exams 
  • Information about A-G, Honors, and Advanced Placement courses and college preparation

College Search

Finding the right college is one of the most important academic decisions your family will have to make. An informed choice will enrich and enhance you student's life and can make a tremendous impact on his or her future. I will provide the following services to make sure that your student will have the information to choose the "best fit" colleges for them and your family by providing the following college search services:
  • Help identify potential colleges for clients
  • Inform clients and families of the college application process and assist in managing a timeline
  • Discuss possible majors for a college degree
  • Inform families of resources to help understanding the cost of college 
  • Support students through the application process for their selected colleges
  • Utilization of local community colleges and Career Technical Education programs

Careers and Pathways

High school is the time when the daydreams of "what do I want to be when I grow up" begin to become more clear.  In order for students to begin to look at their future, they need to understand themselves, their interests, inclinations and strengths. I can work with them individually to explore what success means to them and research  where to attain the training necessary for a particular career. Working together, we will:
  • Focus on self exploration by assessing interests, skills, and values 
  • Apply student's self-assessment to identifying possible career choices and pathways.
  • Learn skills that will help students find the necessary training and education to meet the requirements for a career and the potential pathways to attain those careers of interest.
